Kansas Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named MVP of Super Bowl LVIII. This is the third time he has won this award. He is tied with Joe Montana for second all-time win, behind Tom Brady who has five.
"I've just got to give God the glory, man. He challenged us to make us better and I'm proud of my guys. This is awesome, it's legendary," Mahomes said after his team won the championship.
The official NFL website revealed that "All told, Mahomes accounted for 399 of the Chiefs' 455 yards in the Super Bowl. That is the definition of dragging your team over the finish line."
The Kansas City Chiefs were crowned Super Bowl LVIII champions. In an exciting game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, they won their fourth title by beating the San Francisco 49ers 25-22.
This Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl for the second consecutive year. The last time a team won two years in a row was in 2003 and 2004 when the New England Patriots were crowned world champions.
