The tension went beyond the ropes in the fight between Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III, grandson of the notorious New York gangster John Gotti. The fight ended with a brawl between both boxers’ entourages inside the ring.

During the fight, Mayweather and Gotti III exchanged several insults, which raised the tension between the two fighters and heated up the atmosphere at the FLA Live Arena in Florida. In the sixth round, the referee warned Gotti III that if he continued, he would stop the fight. Instead of calming down, the boxer's reaction was the opposite: he ran to hit his opponent, who was not expecting the blow.

It was then that chaos broke out. Part of both fighters’ entourages and many fans stormed the ring and started a brawl that lasted several minutes. There were also several fights between fans outside the stadium.
