Damar Hamlin reappears after suffering cardiac arrest in the middle of a game
The Buffalo Bills player shared an image on his social networks in which he thanked all his followers for the support he received during these days.
Damar Hamlin has reappeared just a week after suffering a cardiac arrest. The Buffalo Bills player shared his first image from the hospital on his social media accounts along with a brief message in which he thanked all those who have been concerned about his health recently:
The sports world has been monitoring the NFL player´s progress since he suffered a cardiac arrest on January 1, while playing a game against the Cincinnati Bengals. His team, the Buffalo Bills, have made it a point to share every bit of good news they received about his safety while all his fans wished him a speedy recovery. And to many of them he responded yesterday while following a live game his team was playing, and in which he took a moment to comment on Twitter:
His teammates, in return, decided to pay him a heartfelt tribute on the field. Thus, before the start of the game against the New England Patriots, all players came out to the stadium with flags that included the slogan: "Pray for Damar," a direct reference to Hamlin's religious beliefs.
The crowd at Highmark Stadium also showed their support for the player who, according to his social networks, still has "a long way to go" to recover and be able to play a game again.
