Kanye West loses music agent and is sued by Jewish ex-employee after his antisemitic tirade

"I’m no longer representing YE (F/K/A Kanye West) due to his harmful and hateful remarks," said his now ex-agent Daniel McCartney. The plaintiff accuses him of harassing and threatening his Jewish employees.

Rapper Kanye West, who currently goes by Ye, began facing fallout over the large number of antisemitic messages he recently posted on X, prompting his music agent to sever ties with him and a female employee to sue him.

During his hateful tirade, the musician claimed, among other things, that he is Nazi and that he loves Hitler. In addition, he expressed support for rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs and admitted that he also beats women.

West's statements generated a wave of criticism on social media against the rapper, who then deactivated his X account.

That wasn't all. During the Super Bowl, which took place last Sunday, West paid millions of dollars to publish an ad in which he appeared inviting people to visit Yeezy, his online clothing store, but on the website was a T-shirt with a swastika printed on it.

Kanye West's agent severs ties with him

As mentioned, Daniel McCartney, the rapper's music agent, announced that he and his agency 33 & West will no longer represent him.

"Effective immediately, I’m no longer representing YE (F/K/A Kanye West) due to his harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33 & West can stand for," the agent said on Instagram.

The antisemitic harassment lawsuit against West

West will also face a lawsuit from a Jewish former Yeezy employee, identified by the pseudonym Jane Doe, who claimed that the musician sent her antisemitic messages in which he praised Hitler before firing her.

It should be added that West already faces a slew of complaints and lawsuits from former employees for harassment, discrimination and unlawful termination.

Doe began working in the marketing department for West in December 2023 and hoped he had changed, as two weeks earlier had apologized for some antisemitic comments he had made at the time.

However, the woman maintained that she witnessed outbursts of anger with antisemitic expressions against Jewish employees, whom he threatened and also psychologically abused them.

The plaintiff commented that she advised him to change an album cover that had caused controversy because it looked like Nazi iconography. However, he responded, "I'm a Nazi."

Doe, who worked for West for half a year, also accused the artist of sending her messages with insults such as "ugly" and "stupid bitch" and encouraging her to sue him.
