Actor Christian Oliver and his two daughters die in plane crash

The German actor was in a small plane that left Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and crashed in the Caribbean, killing him and three other passengers.

Actor Christian Oliver and his two daughters, aged 12 and 10, died Thursday in a plane crash. The German actor, known for his roles in "Speed Racer" and "Valkyrie," was on a small plane that left Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Antony, minutes later, crashed in the Caribbean, according to a statement from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines police:

As explained by authorities, Oliver and his two daughters boarded a small plane in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines heading to Saint Lucia. Minutes after taking off, the vehicle "experienced technical difficulties and plummeted into the ocean."

The Coast Guard recovered four bodies. Along with Oliver and his two daughters, Madita and Annik, there was also the owner and pilot of the aircraft, Robert Sachs. Subsequently, they were declared dead by the medical team and their bodies were transported to the Kinstown morgue, where the corresponding autopsies are being carried out.
