Documents from the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue reveal that Ashley Biden, daughter of President Joe Biden, owes nearly $5,000 in taxes. Fox News revealed this on Monday after accessing official information.
Ashley joins her brother Hunter and her father on the list of family members suspected of tax fraud, in addition to other financial crimes. This has been brought up frequently in recent weeks as part of the investigation into the president's impeachment inquiry.
According to Fox, the $5,079.44 owed by Ashley Biden is a lien on her properties in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. Fox is basing this on a notice that was issued to Ashley Biden on December 1.
According to the same sources, President Biden's daughter has two different tax liens on her property. The first is regarding unpaid taxes dating back to 2015. The second is from the 2021 fiscal year.
According to the documents from the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, Ashley Biden evaded $1,691 and $1,956 in tax payments for those two years, respectively. She was hit with $2,736 and $2,249 in liens, along with a $94.44 filing fee, according to Philadelphia court records.
