Kirk Cameron, Riley Gaines and the mothers of the local chapter of Moms for Liberty will be able to hold the "See You at the Library" Christian children's event at the Madison Public Library in Alabama, despite attempts to bar them from the room they had reserved.

Library officials backtracked after the legal team at Cameron's publisher, Brave Books, sent a letter warning that if it did not reverse its decision to "censor our client" they would take it to court.

"I believe this reconciliation between us and the Madison Public Library is a testimony to the strength and power of moms and dads gathering in prayer for the blessing of their community," Cameron wrote on social media. "Both sides rose to a higher ethic than we often see in today’s polarized society. By seeking the common good and love for our neighbor, we found a solution that we think will make tomorrow’s event in Madison, Alabama a family friendly, faith-filled, firmly patriotic event for all to enjoy. See you at the library!"
