Secretary of War's plane makes emergency landing in United Kingdom

Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell reported that Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s plane made an unscheduled landing in the United Kingdom due to a crack in the windshield.

The event occurred as the war secretary was returning to the United States after the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Defense Ministers meeting.

"On the way back to the United States from NATO’s Defense Ministers meeting, Secretary of War Hegseth’s plane made an unscheduled landing in the United Kingdom due to a crack in the aircraft windshield," Parnell said on his X account.

In that regard, it was learned that the plane landed according to standard procedures and everyone on board, including Secretary Hegseth, is safe.

For his part, Hegseth posted a message on his social networks in which he assured that he is fine. "All good. Thank God. mission continues!" the secretary assured.
