The impeachment hearings against Joe Biden have begun. The House Oversight Committee had its first day of hearings and one of the most striking participations was that of Nancy Mace (R-SC). The congresswoman revealed a conversation that Hunter Biden had with a business associate related to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Mace began her speech by attacking Democrats for downplaying the audience. "They say none of this is relevant because Joe Biden wasn't vice president while his family was doing these shady deals. Turns out that's complete and utter bulls---. It's a lie."

At the same time, she stressed that the current president was practically his son's negotiating card abroad. "Hunter Biden referred to access to his father as the keys to his family's only asset. Those words are going to come back and haunt Hunter Biden and his family forever," she added.

In the most viral part of her speech, Mace mentioned a conversation that Hunter Biden would have had with an associate, who had relations with the CCP.

"Hunter texted his CCP-linked business partner: 'My uncle will be here with his BROTHER .' "You don't have to be a genius to realize that Hunter is referring to Joe Biden," the Committee's Republican account published on social media, attaching the congresswoman's words.

In addition, Republicans on the Committee added that investigations have uncovered how the Biden family created more than 20 shell companies that raised more than $20 million between 2014 and 2019.

The Democrats present dedicated themselves to discrediting the hearing. One of them was Jamie Raskin (D-MA), who asserted that, despite what his colleagues may have said, there was "no evidence of wrongdoing on the part of President Biden."
