Íñigo Quintero became the first Spanish artist to reach No. 1 in the world on Spotify, with more than 5.7 million views per day. Her song "Si No Estás" continues to be a global success and has surpassed Rosalía's "Despechá" and Quevedo's "Quédate," featuring Argentine producer Bizarrap.

The song is also trending on YouTube, and the official video on that platform has over 34 million views. It is the first song posted by the singer from Galicia, Spain. Three other singles followed: "Sobredosis," "Será Por Ti" and "Sin Tiempo Para Bailar." "Si No Estás" was released for the first time in September 2022, but it only now managed to go viral.

"Two or three weeks ago, the curve started to grow and he did what we have seen with other artists: from 30,000 to 50,000 monthly listeners in Spotify, from 50 to 80, from 80 to 100 and suddenly one day it goes from 100 to 200 and you say 'this is a big jump,' and it continues from 200 to 300," explained Esteve Lombarte, founder of Acqustic, the label that manages Quintero, in a conversation with El País.

When Quintero first posted the song, he did not have a label. Acqustic signed him in March 2023. "Íñigo Quintero signs with us in March 2023. One of our groups told us: Íñigo is really cool," said Lombarte.

So far, several Spanish media outlets have asked Quintero for interviews. However, the artist is not offering statements at the moment. "This is not the time to do a press or concert tour. What we have to do with Íñigo is prepare more songs, the live show, the tour. We also have many requests from record labels around the world, who want to collaborate with the best producers and make remixes and everything," said the manager.
