Rosalía, Rubén Blades and Mark Anthony, hispanics that triumphed at the Grammys

Natalia Lafourcade becomes the second most-awarded Hispanic artist after Shakira.

Motomami was voted the best Latin alternative album according to the latest Grammy Awards, in becoming so, Rosalía triumphed over Jorge Drexler, who was aspiring to the same award for his latest work, Tinta y Tiempo. Rosalía has already won the same award in 2020, with her celebrated album El mal querer.

Rubén Blades took home the Grammy for best Latin pop album. With this award, Blades has accumulated eleven awards in his career. Blades bettered other artists, such as the Colombian Camilo, who was aspiring for the same recognition for his work Pa'Afuera and Sebastián Yatra, with Dharma+.

Another of the award designed for the Hispanic world of music, is the best tropical Latin album. Two names that are well known for their long and fruitful trajectory were among the favorites: Carlos Vives, with Colombiana II, and Marc Anthony, with Pa'lla. Finally, it was the latter who emerged victorious, this gives him three Grammys, having already obtained two awards for, Amar sin mentiras (2005) and Against the current (1999).

Second, most awarded Hispanic artist

They are not the only Hispanic musicians to leave the ceremony with an award in their hands. Singer Natalia Lafourcade has seen her album, Un canto por México - El Musical (A song for Mexico - The Musical) win her the award for the best regional Mexican music album. With this award, Lafourcade becomes the Hispanic artist with the second highest number of gramaphones, just behind Shakira.

We don't talk about Bruno, by Puerto Rican Lin-Manual Miranda, is the song that earned the film Encanto another Grammy. It is the best song composed for visual media, outside the Latin Grammys. The film took home two other awards: best compilation soundtrack for visual media, and best soundtrack for visual media.
