Elon Musk challenged Mark Zuckerberg to a cage match. The Twitter owner took advantage of a thread on his social network to assure that he would be willing to star in a fight with Meta's CEO. He did so following a series of comments in which a user on the platform hinted that Zuckerberg might launch a social network to rival Twitter, called Threads.

To this, Musk replied, in a tongue-in-cheek tone, that this was just one more move demonstrating that "Earth can't wait to be exclusively under Zuck's control with no other options." Another user's reaction was quick to reply, "Be careful, Elon Musk, I hear he's practicing jiu jitsu now."

It refers to the fact that the owner of Facebook is a champion in this sport. In fact, he has two medals and it is not the only sport he practices. However, this did not stop Musk who did not hesitate to challenge him to a fight: "I'm ready for a cage match if he is," he assured.

The challenge reached Zuckerberg's ears and he did not hesitate to accept. He did so through his other social network, Instagram. There, a story appeared in which the entrepreneur replied to Musk: "Send Me Location."

Las Vegas, site chosen for the fight

Musk did not take long to organize everything and, shortly after, replied: "Vegas Octogon," thus proposing a place where this fight between the two billionaires could take place:

Moreover, the tycoon took the opportunity to assure that he even had a costume and a move prepared for the fight, which he did not hesitate to explain to the user who echoed this event: "I have a great move that I call 'The Walrus,' in which I lie on top of my opponent and do nothing."

The match soon became a topic of conversation on social media and political figures such as Greg Abbott, the governor of Texas, encouraged both moguls to make the match:
