Joe Biden is too old to repeat his term. That's the conclusion of an AP poll with the NORC Center for Public Affairs Research in which it asked 1,165 adults nationwide about current presidential candidates. The poll revealed that 77% of the respondents believe that Biden is too old to run again compared to 22% who consider that age is not a determining factor for Biden to seek re-election.

The results within the Democratic Party are surprising. Sixty-nine percent of respondents who identify as Democratic voters believe that Biden is too old to run again. This is only 20% less than Republicans. For GOP voters, the percentage who believe that Biden is not fit to serve another term is at 89%.
That sentiment is unanimous across many age groups, with an almost universally high percentage of people concerned about Biden's age. Only older Democrats are less concerned about the age of the current president, with 54% of Democrats over 45 years old saying they would support the current president if he seeks to be elected for a second term.
Despite being just three years younger than the current president, Donald Trump does not have problems with age in the eyes of the respondents. Fifty-one percent of people said the former president was too old to return to office, while 49% said they do not consider Trump's age to be an issue. Of the 51% who said Trump's age was a concern, 71% were Democrats, while only 29% belonged to the Republican Party.
