Trump's reaction: "DeSanctus", "DISASTER", Soros and the devil

The former president congratulated his primary rival on his candidacy while criticizing and mocking his announcement.

Ron DeSantis was the center of attention on Wednesday. The Florida governor announced that he is entering the race to be the Republican nominee for the 2024 presidential election. He did so on Twitter, in a dialogue moderated by David Sacks, a well-known GOP donor.

One thing that was eagerly awaited was Donald Trump's reactions. The former president used his platform, Truth Social, to express his opinion and respond to the announcement of the candidacy of his main rival in the Republican primaries.

DeSantis' second step in announcing he was running - the first was to submit the required paperwork - didn't begin as he would probably expect: Twitter suffered technical problems and the start of the conversation with Musk had to be delayed. Trump called it a "disaster."

A while later, the former president continued to lash out at the failures on Twitter:

His comments on the errors ended with a mockery in the form of a GIF.

Prior to these publications, Trump congratulated him on his candidacy and wished him luck in taking on and defeating the left:

The format DeSantis chose to communicate his candidacy was also the subject of Trump's mockery. The former president published a montage in which he added, to the conversation of Musk and the new Republican candidate, George Soros, Dick Chenney, Klaus Schwab, Adolf Hitler, the devil and the FBI.

Donald Trump took the opportunity to remind him that the funds he raised so far cannot be used:

The former president ended by releasing a video extolling him, explaining that he is the only one capable of solving major issues such as securing the borders, protecting the Second Amendment, stopping Chinese communism or lowering taxes and creating jobs.
