Trump pulls out all the artillery against Biden Administration over spy balloon: "Disgrace," "grossly incompetent," "they're only good at disinformation"

The former president posted on Truth Social: "China respected TRUMP too much for this to have happened, and it NEVER happened. JUST FALSE DISINFORMATION!"

Former President Donald Trump has not taken a day to respond to accusations from the Biden Administration that as many as three Chinese spy balloons were spotted during his presidency and none were shot down. The former president, in several posts on Truth Social, called them "fake disinformation" and harshly criticized the management of his successor in this matter, which he described as "a disgrace." In addition, the former president accused the White House team of being "grossly incompetent" and only being good at "cheating in elections."

The former president did not beat around the bush when analyzing the White House and the Pentagon's response to the Chinese Communist Party's  spy balloon. "The Chinese Balloon situation is a disgrace, just like the Afghanistan horror show, and everything else surrounding the grossly incompetent Biden Administration. They are only good at cheating in elections, and disinformation," he wrote.

He also accused his successor and his advisors of trying to hide behind his image. In a statement, the Defense Department said Saturday that "Chinese balloons briefly transited the U.S. mainland at least three times during the previous administration." "Now they are putting out that a balloon was put up by China during the Trump Administration, in order to take the “heat” off the slow-moving Biden fools. China had too much respect for “TRUMP” for this to have happened, and it NEVER did. JUST FAKE DISINFORMATION!" the former president wrote.

These statements were underwritten by former Trump White House national security advisor John Bolton. In statements to Fox News, Bolton said that he too had never heard of China flying over the United States with balloons. "I don’t know of any balloon flights by any power over the United States during my tenure, and I’d never heard of any of that occurring before I joined in 2018. I haven’t heard of anything that occurred after I left either."

Also responding to the Department of Defense was Florida Sen. Marco Rubio: "What we've never seen, what is unprecedented, whoever the source is at the Department of Defense would have to acknowledge this, what is unprecedented is a balloon flight that entered over Idaho and flew over Montana, over all these sensitive military installations, air force bases, ICBM fields, right across the middle of the country."
