Only one week remains until the end of the Qatar 2022 World Cup. An experience that has left us with many moments to remember and milestones such as an African team reaching the semifinals for the first time in the events history.
Croatia, Argentina, Morocco and France are the four semifinalists of this World Cup. Two matches will be played on Tuesday and Wednesday between two teams that already have World Cup stars over their crests - having won a World Cup - and two aspiring teams that dream of bringing the cup home for the very first time.
Morocco is the big surprise of this World Cup. They have conceded just one goal in five matches - against Canada in the group stage - and have scored at least one goal against Croatia, Belgium, Spain and Portugal - the latter three having already been eliminated.
On the other hand, Croatia has slid into the top four teams at a World Cup for the second time in a row - they were finalists in Russia in 2018 - and the Luka Modrić-led team has established itself as one of the best teams on the planet.
Argentina and France already know what it's like to celebrate winning a World Cup. La Albiceleste wants to put an end to its World Cup losing streak, having not won the title since Mexico 1986 -they were finalists in Italy 1990 and Brazil 2014-. France is looking to revalidate its status as reigning champion and add its third star - adding to those won in France 1998 and Russia in 2018.
