A group of FBI confidants appeared Thursday before the Subcommittee on Instrumentalities, which is investigating the Biden Administration's use of federal agencies for political and biased uses. During his speech, one of the whistleblowers assured that the FBI will "crush" any member of the agency who steps forward to report wrongdoing.
The lawmakers, led by Republican Jim Jordan, heard from FBI agent Garret O'Boyle, who recommended praying "long and hard" to anyone thinking of uncovering wrongdoing at the federal agency. "This government will crush you and your family if you try to bring to light the truth about things they are doing wrong," he argued before the Subcommittee. "And I would tell them (those who want to blow the whistle) that I could take it to Congress for them, or I could put them in touch with Congress. But I would advise them not to do it," he added.

This is the second time O'Boyle has appeared before Jim Jordan's commission on the instrumentality of federal agencies. After whistleblowing, O'Boyle was suspended from employment and lost his home. According to the Daily Caller, the FBI seized his personal property and refuses to release it. His family has moved from Virginia to Kansas. According to O'Boyle's complaint, the FBI doctored crime statistics and has persecuted anti-abortion groups in the country.
Along with O'Boyle, two other whistleblowers testified. They all admitted to the Subcommittee that the FBI and the Federal Government coordinated to bring pressure to bear on them after they denounced the instrumentalization that exists in the agency.

Democratic lawmakers who attended the appearance criticized the whistleblowers' accounts, which they described as a threat to national security. Linda Sanchez, D-California, accused one of the confidants of spreading false information about Nancy Pelosi to hold her responsible for the assault on the Capitol on January 6.
Another Democratic representative, Stacey Plaskett, asserted that "My (Republican) colleagues have brought in these former agents, men who lost their security clearances because they were a threat to our national security." The same representative threatened in April to sue journalist Matt Taibbi for reporting on exchanges between the FBI and Twitter.
