"The concept of Hispanicity is a mandatory necessity"

Res Hispánica, a meeting point for Hispanic studies, is born. Poet Miguel Galanes de la Flor shares with us his perspective on the idea of Hispanicity.

Voz Media would like to share with its readers the Res Hispánica initiative, an intellectual gathering that aims to generate more conversations about Hispanics in the debate of universal cultures.

Its advocates, led by Spanish philosopher and writer Agapito Maestre, argue that "West and East, North and South, are unintelligible without the past, the present and, surely, the future of Hispanic culture."

On the Res Hispánica channel you can already see the contributions of illustrious guests such as Rafael Dávila, retired Spanish general; Bardo de la Taurina, Mexican bullfighting critic and writer; as well as numerous poets, philosophers, artists and a wide gallery of figures whose goal is to build a bridge in the Hispanic world.

Today we present poet Miguel Galanes de la Flor's contribution, who explains that "the concept of Hispanicity is a mandatory necessity."
