Several universities across the country, backed by groups funded - among others - by billionaires George Soros and Mark Zuckerberg, are lobbying Congress for an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens in the DACA program. The goal, Breitbart charges, is to preserve its multimillion-dollar annual tuition and fee pipeline.
A federal appeals court ruled in October that DACA(Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals ) is illegal. Thus, the Biden Administration's intention to legalize dreamers, -illegal immigrants who entered the country as children,- was paralyzed. The court ruling blocked new applications for the program. However, current DACA recipients (pushed by the Obama administration in 2012 with Biden as vice president) were not affected. This is about 600,000 people.
As Breitbart notes, approximately 182,000 illegal aliens out of more than 400,000 enrolled in U.S. colleges and universities are eligible for DACA or are enrolled in DACA. Breitbart estimates that a DACA amnesty would open up a wave of chain migration - where newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign family members to the United States - ranging from 10 million to 19 million foreigners.
Despite this data, the universities are insistent on requesting amnesty. In a letter addressed to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-New York) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky), the university executives of the Presidents' Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration affirm that DACA illegal aliens are "Americans in every sense but on paper."
We write to respectfully urge you to prioritize passing bipartisan legislation before the end of this year to provide permanent protections for DACA recipients and other Dreamers.

In the letter, we read that "if Congress fails to act, employers and communities will lose valuable contributors." In this regard, the Alliance of Presidents calls for bipartisan action to protect dreamers. Behind the signatories of the letter are associations such as Zuckerberg's FWD.us and Soros' Open Society Foundation. Also listed among the donors are the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and the Walder Foundation.
