There have been some interruptions in polling centers in certain states due to problems with the voting machines or online applications, which in some cases has caused voters to have to cast their vote manually.

Philadelphia
Nearly 3,600 vote-by-mail ballots may be rejected for having incorrect information, missing dates or lacking envelopes to ensure confidentiality, a state election official told CNN.
Philadelphia City Commissioners Chairwoman Lisa Deeley released the names of affected voters and urged them to take immediate action to obtain replacement ballots.
Last week, the state Supreme Court barred local election officials from recounting ballots that were missing dates or had other of the aforementioned errors. "I am very disappointed in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court's decision regarding undated and misdated ballots," Deeley said in a statement. "The lack of such a date should not be a reason to disenfranchise a voter."
New Jersey
This situation has also occurred in other states of the country. In Mercer County, N.J., all voting machines are currently inactive, according to local officials. Voters must go to their registered polling place, where they have to cast their vote on a standard ballot and submit it in the machine's emergency slot.
County officials released in a statement:
"No one will be disenfranchised and we are working to fix the problem right now. It may delay the results, but we will make sure everyone votes," Mercer County Clerk Paula Sollami Covello said in an email to CNN.
Louisiana
