The second suspect in the Saskatchewan massacre, Myles Saskatchewan, died in hospital as reported by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). According to Newsmax, Myles reportedly died from self-inflicted wounds.

After four days in a state of search and seizure, the RCMP managed to arrest Myles near a highway at 3:30 p.m. and took him into police custody.

The detainee began to feel ill from his injuries and was taken to a hospital in the city of Saskatoon, in the province of Saskatchewan, where he died. RCMP Deputy Commissioner Rhonda Blackmore confirmed that Myles Sanderson died in hospital.
Authorities considered Myles to be a dangerous man, due to a high criminal record. He was facing three counts of first-degree murder. Two days earlier, Saskatchewan Police found the lifeless body of the other suspect in the killing and Myles' brother, Damien Sanderson in the vicinity of a house that was under investigation.
The Saskatchewan massacre in the James Smith Cree Nation resulted in 10 people being stabbed to death and 19 injured, making it one of the deadliest massacres in the country's history.
