Two Just Stop Oil activists threw tomato soup at Vincent Van Gogh's Sunflowers painting. Subsequently, both glued themselves to the wall of the National Gallery in London where the painting is kept.
"Which is worth more, art or life?" they were recorded asking to visitors while stuck to the wall in a video shared by The Guardian. "Is it worth more than food? More than justice? Are you more concerned about the protection of a painting or the protection of our planet and people?"

The National Gallery staff hurried to clear the room and proceeded to clean the painting. According to the London museum, the damage is not expected to be serious due to the glass panel that protects the painting. Sunflowers is valued at $84.2 million.
