Progressive Racism: From Calling for Sanctuaries to Calling Immigrants "Trash"

Furious reactions from progressives for sending illegals from border states to Democrat 'sanctuaries.' Now they speak of "crimes against humanity."

Sending illegal immigrants from border states to so-called sanctuary cities has not sat well with Democrats. This is especially so after Florida shipped 50 illegals to Martha's Vineyard (Massachusetts), a paradise for the rich and famous that boasted of "standing with the immigrants" but took just hours to remove them from the island.

After months of condemning an invasion from the southern border, states like Texas have had to mobilize illegals all the way to Vice President Kamala Harris' own residence in order to be heard or at least for Democrats and many progressive immigrant aid associations to show their true colors.

The founder of Casa Venezuela Dallas, Max Lefeld, made the following comparison to the influx of immigrants from border states to progressive cities:

It's like me taking my trash out and just driving to different areas [than] where I live and just throwing my trash there.

The statements comparing immigrants to trash were picked up by NBC and shared on social media, although the network later removed the tweet containing these racist comments.

Shortly before, Martha's Vineyard homeless shelter coordinator Lisa Belcastro denounced the "challenge" that the immigrants' arrival poses for the island, noting that they do not have the capacity to accommodate them and that they would have to go elsewhere. Let's not forget that on Martha's Vineyard there are mansions priced at more than $20 million.

Ocasio-Cortez Now Speaks of "Crimes Against Humanity."

Progressive Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, an advocate of immigration when it comes to Texas or Arizona, was now very critical of sending illegals to Democratic areas. According to Ocasio-Cortez, transfering immigrants is "human trafficking" and a "crime against humanity."

Her words coincided with the White Houses' attack on the governors from the border states, who were accused of "cruel and inhumane" tactics for moving the immigrants. Joe Biden himself accused Abbott and DeSantis of engaging in "political stunts" and "un-Americanism" by moving illegals to progressive sanctuaries.

Sending these immigrants away is a form of protest by Republican governors against the inaction of the Biden Administration. Since he took office as president, five million illegals have crossed the border. The border states condemned the lack of help from the federal government to contain immigration and the security problems caused by this wave of undocumented immigrants. They were only heard when the illegals arrived - literally - at the Democrats' doorstep.

DeSantis and Newsom Clash: "Hair Gel Interferes With Your Brain Function."

California Governor Gavin Newsom went further and asked the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate his counterparts in Florida, Ron DeSantis, and Texas, Greg Abbott, for transfering immigrants to Democratic areas.

In a post shared on his Twitter account, Newsom formally asked the DOJ to launch an investigation into these transfers, which he called "inhumane." Newsom subsequently challenged Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis to a debate.

DeSantis responded humorously to Newsom's challenge. Florida's governor said Newsom's hair gel "is interfering with his brain function."

DeSantis said he was "perplexed" by the Democrats' new concern for immigrants. The Florida governor referred to the speed with which Biden assembled his cabinet after the dispatch of illegals to an enclave of Democratic millionaires. Ron DeSantis pointed out that Biden did not rush to assemble his cabinet "when we had millions of people illegally crossing the southern border, "when 50 immigrants died in a trailer in Texas or when "we hit a record number of fentanyl deaths."

In Governor DeSantis' opinion, what happened after the shipment of illegals to Martha's Vineyard is a reflection of "the sheer hypocrisy of leftists who claim to have a heart for displaced migrants."
