The City University of New York (CUNY) has assigned a former official of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to investigate a complaint of anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism.
The Daily Caller reported that the appointment of Sally Abd Alla, who was formerly the civil rights director of CAIR in Minnesota, a Hamas-linked institution. The Department of Justice called CAIR a "conspirator" in the "funding millions of dollars to the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas." Alla is currently the chief diversity officer at CUNY.

"We don't want Jews here."
Now CUNY is tasking Alla with investigating a complaint made by Jeffrey Lax, a professor at Kingsborough Community College (KCC). The Professor has accused CUNY of anti-Semitic and anti-Zionist discrimination. In an email, Lax reflected on one of the messages sent by KCC President Claudia Schrader in which she wrote: "We don't want Jews here."
Professor Lax also referred to Schrader, noting that the KCC president hired a supporter of the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement for the CUNY Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
According to Lax, Schraeder often makes public statements against racism and bigotry. In contrast, he did not publicly condemn the attack with a bat on an Orthodox Jew at a pro-Palestinian demonstration on campus last year.
The person in charge of all discrimination investigations at the country's largest urban university is Sally Abd Alla. Lax, who is awaiting a resolution by CUNY on his claim, has this to say about the person running it, "When you have someone from CAIR leading a discrimination office throughout the university, you are the biggest cause of the antisemitism."
