A viral video that has been shared by BPR suggests that the Idaho killer may have been present at the vigil held for the four victims two and a half weeks after they were killed. Throughout the nearly seven-week investigation into the quadruple homicide, internet users were relentless in their efforts to identify the killer until the prime suspect, Bryan Kohberger, was finally apprehended.
In the face of the numerous rumors flooding the networks, Moscow police chief James Fry issued a warning:
We are the official source of information. We want people to pay attention to what we’re putting out there because that is accurate information, and anything that comes from other sources is either rumor or speculation and we want to put an end to that as soon as possible.
On the Friday before New Year's Day, Bryan Kohberger, 28, was arrested in Monroe County, Pa., in connection with the fatal stabbings of Ethan Chapin, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle and Maddie Mogen, which occurred on Nov. 13, 2022.
The viral video was posted on TikTok. The caption reads, “The guy is in the blue coat walking into the vigil, many think is Bryan Kohberger. The profiles seem to be an exact match! The look and actions of pure evil … not insane … pure …. Evil!”

Reactions to the comparison are mixed, with some agreeing that the man in the video is indeed Kohberger, while others are skeptical, highlighting the differences in hair and complexion.

Hairline is very different. Ears on vigil guy are pointed differently. I actually see no resemblance other than brown hair.
