The Canadian multinational company Lululemon fired two female employees after they called the police to report a robbery at one of its stores in Atlanta, Georgia and took a video the thieves. The sportswear retailer made this unlikely decision based on its anti-theft policy.
The victims, Jennifer Ferguson, who was the assistant manager of the store, and Rachel Rogers, recorded the events. In the video, posted on social media, the three hooded criminals can be seen leaving the store with several items in their hands. At the end of the video, the individuals are seen getting into a car and fleeing the scene.

In the video, one of the employees can be heard telling the robbers: "No, no, no. You can march back out. Seriously? Get out!" One of the criminals told the employee, "Chill b****." When it comes to Lululemon's policy on theft, Ferguson explained, "We're not supposed to get in the way. You kind of clear path for whatever they're going to do."
"And then, after it's over, you scan a QR code. And that's it. We've been told not to put it in any notes, because that might scare other people. We're not supposed to call the police, not really supposed to talk about it," the former assistant manager added.
A company spokesperson explained to Fox Business that "the safety and security of our employees and guests is always Lululemon's top priority, and we have policies and protocols in place to uphold a safe environment. We take thefts and vandalism very seriously and our focus right now is supporting our educators as well as continuing to collaborate with local partners and law enforcement."
