Kari Lake confirms she's considering running for senator in 2024... if she loses lawsuit against midterm results

Polls indicate that her candidacy would be the only one capable of winning the Arizona seat over Democrats Kyrsten Synema or Ruben Gallego.

Kari Lake confirmed that she has in mind the idea of running for senator in the 2024 elections. However, she pointed out that this is something she will only do in the event that Justice rules against her in the complaint she filed against the electoral results in the gubernatorial race in the last midterms.

In a interview with Charlie Kirk, Lake indicated that she would be willing to take the leap after seeing that polls indicate that her candidacy represents the only possibility for the Republicans to win that seat over the Democrat candidates, Krysten Sinema (who last year declared her independence) and Ruben Gallego. "I’ve seen some internal polling that shows I’m the only Republican who can beat these other two. I find both of them incredibly dangerous for the people of Arizona, Kyrsten Sinema’s record shows her voting 93 percent of the time for Joe Biden’s agenda, I find Ruben Gallego being a self-admitted socialist really frightening for Arizona and if I’m the only Republican who can beat them, I would be willing to jump in."

Lake relies on Arizona Supreme Court

The conservative candidate indicated that she is "considering" the idea, although, "my number one priority is our court case, and I have full confidence in our court case and I hope we will get a judge to do the right thing." That is, that the Arizona Supreme Court challenge Katie Hobbs' victory due to irregularities that occurred during Election Day and the recount, especially in Maricopa County.

In addition, Lake made it clear that, in any case, they are not going to kill it. "I’m also looking at what happens if we don’t get a decent ruling in that, and they want me to go away, they want our movement to go away. I represent we the people, and if they want us gone so badly that they’re willing to steal an election then I’m not going to let them have that, I won’t go away", she said.

Rumors of Lake's possible senatorial candidacy had been swirling for some time. Especially after staffers acknowledged that she had met with the National Republican Senatorial Committee last week.
