JP Sears' conversion to Christianity to fight communism

The famous influencer, critical of woke and leftist ideologies, said he "did not believe in the immense power of prayer."

JP Sears, a famous influencer who makes humorous videos about the woke ideology on his channel AwakenWithJP, announced that he is converting to Christianity. He made the announcement in a video titled I've Changed My Mind About God - Here's Why which he posted on his YouTube account. Sears explained why he abandoned his "spiritual arrogance" and decided to join the Christian faith:

I was excluding some amazing traditional Christian values, beliefs of God and ways of connecting with God that I now really value but, out of what I would call spiritual arrogance, I was excluding them, just judging them. I didn't believe in the immense power of prayer.

In four days, JP Sears' video was viewed by more than 600,000 people. Considering the number of followers he has on his social media -more than 340,000 on Instagram, more than 1 million on Twitter and almost 3 million subscribers on YouTube- his reflection will be seen by many people who want to reflect on the Christian faith.

"Communism is a crappy higher power"

JP Sears is known for criticizing the left and the coercion it tries to exert on society. In the video, the influencer argued that Christianity helps to fight against the communist ideology:

When you have faith in God, you are not controllable. There is a reason why Communists have their number one objective to disconnect people from God where they ban religions and of course right now it's more like discouraging it, shaming it. They don't want people having faith in a real higher power so if you can get people to disconnect from God, if you get people to disconnect from the teachings of God, the ways of God and the belief in God, those communists get to be your higher power, and honestly they make a crappy higher power.

He also condemned the attitude of globalists:

Evil no longer hides, it approaches us through authoritarianism, movements, groups of people, companies, governments, trying to invade our minds, to invade the free will given by God.
