Jay Leno suffered multiple fractures after motorcycle accident

The host, who assured that he is fine, broke his collarbone, two ribs and two kneecaps.

News anchor Jay Leno is on a roll. After suffering severe burns to his face in November 2022, he was involved in a motorcycle accident that left him with several bones. The mishap happened last January 17, but he just started talking about it this week.

During an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the historic host of The Tonight Show (now hosted by Jimmy Fallon) recalled that ten days ago, while testing a 1940 Indian motorcycle, he ran over a cable across a parking lot. The accident resulted in a broken collarbone, two broken ribs, and two broken kneecaps.

"So I turned down a side street and cut through a parking lot, and unbeknownst to me, some guy had a wire strung across the parking lot but with no flag hanging from it." He added: “So, you know, I didn’t see it until it was too late. It just clotheslined me and boom, knocked me off the bike."

His accident in November

The talk show host admitted that he had kept quiet about the mishap because of the extensive media coverage his latest accident received. In November, he was seriously injured after suffering severe burns from a garage fire at his Los Angeles home.

At that time, he had to be hospitalized, as he had serious burns on his face. The fire broke out after one of his car's gas tank exploded.
