Hillary Clinton linken Trump supporters to Nazis

The former Secretary of State once again attacked the former president, comparing his appearance to those of Adolf Hitler.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton compared Donald Trump's rally in Ohio last week to those held by Adolf Hitler before his followers.

During the Texas Tribune Festival, Clinton gave her own take on the rally and her comparison:

Did you see the Ohio rally? Trump stood there ranting for over an hour before that line of young people with their arms raised. What happened to these people? I remember, when I was a young student, how I tried to understand when Adolf Hitler attracted people. I could see how that guy (Hitler) was ranting, standing with his arms raised and people screaming.

Trump was in Youngstown, Ohio, supporting Senate candidate JD Vance's campaign to beat Republican Senator Rob Portman. Some of those present raised their index finger at the end of the rally. During his appearance, the former president spoke of the greatness of the United States:

My fellow citizens, this incredible journey we are on together has only just begun, and it is time to get back to talking about greatness for our country. We are one movement, one people, one family and one glorious nation.

This is a new attack towards Donald Trump by Hillary Clinton, who lost the 2016 presidential election against Trump himself.

"Disgusting slander"

A spokesman for Donald Trump, Taylor Budowich, accused Hillary Clinton of disqualifying the former president through "disgusting slanders." He also called the comments of the former Secretary of State from the Obama Administration "pathetic":

It seems that the basket of deplorable comments from perpetual candidate Hillary Clinton ran out. It is pathetic, it is divisive and it is further cementing his legacy of deplorability.
