This Wednesday, the Jacksonville Police Department announced that it has arrested a suspect in the murder of Microsoft executive Jared Bridegan. However, authorities also announced that they believe he is not the only one involved in the homicide.
Authorities explained that after a year-long investigation, they were able to arrest Henry Tenon on charges including conspiracy to commit murder, second-degree murder with a weapon and accessory to a capital felony.
The 61-year-old will also face a child abuse charge because when the Microsoft executive was fatally shot, he was with his two-year-old daughter in the car seat, which put her "directly in harm's way."
Despite the arrest, the case will still not be closed because State Attorney Melissa Nelson said at a press conference that they knew Henry Tenon did not act alone.
"We hope to have more answers to provide to you," said Gene Paul Smith, Jacksonville Beach police chief.

The murder
Microsoft executive Jared Bridegan was shot and killed on a Florida highway on February 16, 2022, while driving with his daughter after dropping off two of his other children.
According to police, Bridegan ran into a tire blocking his path, which is presumed to have been placed on purpose. The executive got out of the car to remove it when he was ambushed and killed "in cold-blood."
The strange link between the accused and Bridegan's ex-wife
According to the New York Post, records were found showing that Henry Tenon lived in a house once owned by Mario Fernandez, who married Shanna Gardner-Fernandez -just two years after she separated from the Microsoft executive-.

Shanna and Mario Fernandez had already been named as suspects in Bridegan's death in the past. However, the authorities had not been able to find any sufficient evidence to point to them.
