Florida: at least eight injured in shooting during Martin Luther King Day celebration

One of the injured is in serious condition. The protagonists of the confrontation, which occurred after a fight between two rival groups, are being sought.

At least eight people were injured Monday afternoon, one critically, in a shooting during a Martin Luther King Day motorcade in Fort Pierce, Fla.

According to the sheriff's office, the shooting occurred between two rival groups and the perpetrators are being sought as there were no arrests made at the time of the incident.

A disagreement between two parties resulted in 8 shooting victims during a Martin Luther King Jr. celebration. at Ilous Ellis Park in Ft. Pierce. One of those individuals is in critical condition. Four other people were injured while fleeing the scene.
