Elon Musk blames college communism for problems with transgender child

The Tesla owner believes that the prevailing sentiment in elite schools of "if you're rich, you're evil" affected his parental relationship.

Elon Musk blamed the communism that reigns at elite colleges and universities for the rift with his transgender child, Vivian Jenna Wilson. The billionaire stated in an interview with The Financial Times that neo-Marxism has taken over education, affecting his own family relationships.

While Musk confidently expressed that his relationship with his son may improve in the future, he recalled the extreme bias that runs rampant in the country's elite schools (he did not specify which ones) against people with a lot of money:

It’s full-on communism ... and a general sentiment that if you’re rich, you’re evil (...) It [the relationship] may change, but I have very good relationships with all the others [children]. Can’t win them all.

The owner of Tesla Motors and Space X referred in this manner to the difficult relationship with his child Vivian who until a few months ago was Xavier Alexander Musk but decided in April, after turning 18 years old, to formally apply for a name change along with a new gender identity. At the time, he said it was because "I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.”

After this change, which involved getting rid of his biological father's last name, Elon Musk spoke out on Father’s Day by merely tweeting "I love all my kids so much."
