Elitism and 'moral superiority': Democrats believe Hispanic voters vote Republican because of "disinformation"

Progressives believe that Latinos are increasingly conservative because they are not well informed.

A new poll released by WPA Intelligence revealed the condescending racism of the Democratic elite towards the Hispanic population. More than half of CNN and MSNBC viewers believe that Hispanics are becoming more conservative at the polls as a result of "misinformation".

The survey asked 1,000 people which aspects they believe are contributing to the Hispanic turn toward Republicans. Fifty-seven percent of MSNBC viewers and 54 percent of CNN viewers said the spread of misinformation caused Hispanics to vote conservative. This statement was shared by 63% of progressives (self-described liberals) and 61% of Biden voters.

Respondents barely highlighted among the reasons for Hispanics' conservative turn other relevant aspects to define voting intentions, such as the political and economic agenda or the Hispanic-American community's own conservative preferences. A view lamented by the conservative Hispanic association Bienvenido, which denounced the "gullible rubes" treatment of these liberal elites towards Hispanic voters. "We see ourselves as proud Americans," Bienvenido noted.

Democratic Elitist Racism: From "Gullible Hispanics" to "Breakfast Tacos

This is not the first time that Democrats have treated Hispanics as a gullible and vulnerable community to be "oriented". A recent example, this tweet from Florida Democratic Congressman Darren Soto, in which he noted that "Spanish-speaking voters are very susceptible to misinformation and must be protected."

The tweet included a letter in which several Democratic members of Congress called on the Justice Department to intervene and address the "misinformation directed at Spanish-speaking voters."

This is a very recurrent argument among the left and the establishment media. Even the Spanish-speaking ones. An example of this can be found in Univision, where it was stated that Hispanics are the perfect victims of misinformation.

In short, the Democratic argument for analyzing the shift of votes to the Republican side is always the same. Instead of talking about the economic crisis, insecurity, corruption, censorship or political persecutions, it is easier to try to ridicule a collective of more than 60 million people.

It seems, judging by the attitude of these elites, that non-English speaking Hispanic voters are too dumb to know what is true. At least on this occasion they didn't make fun of the community by comparing it to breakfast tacos.
