President Joe Biden kept another batch of classified documents in the garage of one of his Delaware homes. White House lawyers revealed Thursday the location of the discovery of new classified files from Biden's time as vice president in the Barack Obama administration.
The White House Counsel's Office searched Biden' s two residences in Rehoboth Beach and Wilmington. Del. this week following revelations about classified documents hidden in a private office of the Penn Biden Center think tank, which operates under the University of Pennsylvania.
White House lawyers say they immediately contacted the Justice Department when they discovered the documents. Richard Sauber, special advisor to the president, again stressed the White House's cooperation with the National Archives and DOJ.

Despite this alleged collaboration, it should be recalled that the first documents were found on Nov. 2, 2022. Biden's legal team kept the discovery of the documents under wraps in light of the upcoming midterm elections. According to CNN, these documents contained classified material on Ukraine, the United Kingdom and Iran.
Asked about the appearance of classified documents next to his Corvette, the president simply said that his car is not on the street, but in a locked garage.

On Monday, from Mexico City, the president said he was "surprised" by the discovery of the documents in the private office he used when he was an honorary professor at the University of Pennsylvania. "People know I take classified documents seriously," Biden declared.
The new findings will intensify calls for clarification from the Republican Party. Investigations into the case have already begun, headed by U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch.

In the wake of these discoveries, former President Trump accused Biden of stealing classified documents during the Obama administration and selling it to China for millions of dollars. He also questioned the FBI, comparing its actions during the current revelation and the raid on his Mar-a-Lago home in August 2022.
"When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House?" he asked on his social network Truth Social. He added: "These documents were definitely not declassified."
