Atlanta: two killed and one wounded in street shooting

The injured is in stable condition. No arrests were made immediately after the event.

A shooting in Atlanta's Grove Park neighborhood on Sunday night left at least two people dead and a third wounded, according to local media outlets reporting information provided by the Atlanta Police Department.

Police noted that two men were found bleeding on Francis Place at around 6:30 p.m. They were taken to the hospital in critical condition, but died of their injuries. Investigators added that a third person was later found injured. He is in stable condition.

"What we know is that the three males were at this location. There was a dispute, a shooting, and that two males are deceased, another is in stable condition," Atlanta police Lt. Andrew Smith said in remarks picked up by FOX 5 Atlanta.

Homicide investigators continue to work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No arrests have been made at this time.
