Anti-police Congresswoman Cori Bush spends $400,000 on private security

"I have private security because my body deserves to be on this planet," he said one day when questioned about his attitude.

Congresswoman Cori Bush has spent nearly $400,000 of campaign funds on private security... as she moves forward with her initiatives to defund the police. The Missouri Democrat's campaign spent $89,265.67 on this item during the second quarter of the year alone, according to Federal Election Commission records collected by Fox News. That's $50,000 more than what was earmarked for her second-biggest campaign expense: fundraising services.

The ultra-Bush has earmarked a total of $393,417.67 for private security for the 2022 election cycle. Paradoxically, the Democratic congresswoman, a staunch gun control advocate, has allocated almost $60,000 to Peace Security, a company critical of those promoting gun control.... The rest of the money went to Courtney Merrits and Nathaniel Davis, whose address - according to Fox News - coincides with Bush's own campaign headquarters.

Attacks on police

Messages like this are commonplace on the social networks of the radical Bush, a staunch promoter of the movement to defund the police, pushed by numerous Democratic representatives as crime rates soar in their own cities.

Cori Bush does not hesitate to defame the police and call for the withdrawal of funds while spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on her own personal security. Already a year ago, Fox News reported on her spending on private security. Then, CBS asked her about this incongruous and even hypocritical position. The congresswoman gave a most surprising answer: "Do you want me to die? (...) I have private security because my body deserves to be on this planet right now," she said.
