Ana de Armas will not be Wonder Woman: "Gal Gadot is doing a great job and I think she should stick with it".

The actress denied the rumors that she will assume the role of the superheroine after the arrival of James Gunn and Peter Safran at DC.

Ana de Armas will not be the new Wonder Woman. The Cuban interpreter denied in an interview with Wired the rumors that place her as the new superheroine after the arrival of James Gunn and Peter Safran to DC and the restructuring of the entire cinematic universe:

It happened during a promotional interview for Ghosting, the actress' new comedy with Chris Evans. In it, the performer answered the questions that fans most look for about her and, one of them, read as follows, "Is Ana de Armas the new Wonder Woman?"

She made her answer very clear. For the time being, she won't be playing Wonder Woman on the big screen: "I feel like Gal Gadot is doing a great job with that and I think she should stick with it."

Fans were quick to react to Ana de Armas' statement. Almost everyone praised the reaction of the interpreter and highlighted what a good partner Ana de Armas is in defending Gal Gadot:

To be honest, I think Gal Gadot should continue playing Wonder Woman because she is better than Ana de Armas. This is no mistake. She does a great job as Wonder Woman. And I hope there's still hope for Gal Gadot to return.

It's official: Ana de Armas is the most sensible person in Hollywood. Thank you for being there. #WonderWoman #GalGadot

Ana de Armas explains her exit from 'El Internado'.

The actress not only wet herself by assuring that she is not interested in snatching the role of Wonder Woman from Gal Gadot. Ana de Armas left other headlines such as that, according to her, the interpreter Paul Mescal should be the new James Bond in the next 007 movie.

However, the best moment came when Chris Evans uncovered the following question:"Why did Ana de Armas leave El Internado?". To Evans' surprise, the performer asked, "Do you know what El Internado is?" The answer was obvious: "I don't know. What is it?" Ana de Armas, again, did not hesitate to respond to the Marvel actor: "It was a TV series I did when I moved to Spain".

Evans, not entirely satisfied with the actress's response, decided to delve into the subject: "And why did you leave her?" The artist's response did not take long to arrive and surprised fans of the well-known Spanish series:

I started that series when I was 19 and I was playing a high school student for three years. And I felt like... it's time to get out of here because I don't have much left to do here either, I've done everything so it's time to go. So I asked them to kill me. And they did.

An answer that, as well as her statements about whether or not she would play Wonder Woman, left a multitude of comments from fans of the Blonde star on social networks:
